Building Resilience in Children and Strengthening Families 

Taking the first step to reach out and seek help can be difficult. However, the results can be rewarding. 

We look forward to journeying with you and your child towards a brighter tomorrow through the ENRICH programme. 

  • Serves as a 12-month mental health intervention for younger children with emotional issues and mental health symptoms 
  • Aims to improve the child’s resilience and increase his/her coping strategies  
  • Strengthen family relationships to help families manage adversities and overcome life’s challenges  
  • Consists of both individual and family sessions

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Children aged 7 to 11 
  • Children with emotional issues and mental health symptoms, such as academic and family stresses, symptoms of anxiety, and/or depression 
  • Subject to an intake assessment to find out more about the presenting problem, family atmosphere, school/academics, social background, and the child’s psycho-emotional development
  • Screening tools will also be used to measure the intensity, impact, and severity of the child’s emotional issues

What You Can Expect 

The programme will comprise: 

  • Individual counselling (for child) 
  • Parenting sessions  
  • Family sessions

First contact — Assessing needs 
Upon receiving your enquiry, our friendly professionals will share more details about the programme and arrange an intake assessment with you. This will guide us on the next steps.  

Post-assessment 
If the intake assessment is successful, rest assured that you and your child are in good hands. A dedicated caseworker from our multidisciplinary team of professionals will follow through the 12-month programme with you and your child.

Costs 
As this programme is fully funded, you do not have to pay a fee.  

Session details 
Each session will be: 

  • Between 45 minutes to one hour 
  • Conducted on a fortnightly or monthly basis, depending on your caseworker’s recommendation 
  • Held at our Bukit Merah or Toa Payoh offices 
  • Held Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
