Rebuilding Family Ties in a Supportive Setting

We provide supervised access to facilitate the reunification between parents and their children – all while ensuring the family heals together as one.

This programme operates under the authorisation of the Ministry of Social & Family Development’s (MSF) Child Protection Service (CPS).

In line with MSF’s approach to intervention for families, we aim to:

  • Heal and grow the relationship between the child and their parents or caregivers in a safe environment
  • Strengthen bonds between parent and child by providing opportunities for them to display positive child management and parenting strategies
  • Assess how ready the parent or caregiver is to reunite with their child
  • Facilitate the reunification of child and parent or caregiver

For Urgent Situations

If the child’s life is in immediate danger, call the police at 999.

If you suspect or are aware of child abuse, you can report it by:

What You Can Expect

Our team can provide supervised facilitated access, supervised handovers, parent and/or child counselling, parenting programmes, and case conferences among professionals.

We act as an on-site parenting coach, counsellor, and social worker – all in one. This is to facilitate safe access between abused children and their natural parents or caregivers.

Our sessions consist of several carefully designed activities to ensure a smooth and holistic healing process. These include:

  • Facilitating conversations, activities, and games between the child and their parent or caregiver
  • Conducting a debriefing session with parents or caregivers and informing them on what they did right and how they can further improve
  • Discussing appropriate parenting skills that they can use to strengthen their parent-child interactions
