About the Activity
Community Support Services (CSS) is a community-based initiative within TOUCH Special Needs Group. We provide a welcoming and safe environment for Persons with Disabilities to connect and enhance their abilities through enjoyable activities.
We are looking for volunteer befrienders to support our activities on the 1st and 3rd Sundays every month.
Schedule & Commitment
Commitment will be 1-2 times a month for 6 months on every 1st and 3rd Sundays every month.

Community Support Services
Requirements:
- 19 years and above
- Interested in supporting Persons with Disabilities.
- Comfortable in group activities and engaging people with light-hearted conversations.
You will befriend and establish rapport with participants and assist staff in leading activities and warm up exercise; offer guidance to complete activities and assist participants who need navigation support. If planning is your interest, you may wish to contribute to programme planning and evaluation.
A: Basic Training include:
- Introduction to Persons with Disabilities
- Communication Tips
- Volunteers Dos and Don’ts
A: Sunday indoor programmes are usually based at TOUCHpoint@ Geylang Bahru.
Outdoor activities may be conducted at other parts of Singapore.
A: Travelling to event location will be by public transport and we may organise lunches at affordable venues. Volunteers will cover their own cost of transport and meals unless otherwise stated.
