Building Social Mobility of Families Through Sustained Employment

Project 1, 2, 3! (P123) is a programme that addresses issues that affect the ability of lower-income families to seek and sustain employment - a critical factor for their well-being.

We work with our clients to increase their motivation, build skills, and secure and sustain employment over a period of two years.

Eligibility Criteria

This service primarily caters to clients who are:

• Above 15 years old
• Unemployed or irregularly employed
• Lower-income (household monthly income ≤ SGD 2500 or per capita income ≤ SGD 690)
• Willing to take on a job within a year
• Physically and mentally fit for work, with no existing risk concerns

What You Can Expect 

Families enrolled in P123 will receive support as they work towards sustainable employement through three stages over two years. 

• Stage 1: Discovering and developing client’s motivation  
• Stage 2: Increasing client’s job readiness through skills and competency building 
• Stage 3: Supporting clients in securing and sustaining employment  

Dedicated staff will collaborate with clients through phases. 

Social worker: 

• Case management to reduce employment barriers
• Strengthen motivation

Job coach:

• Provide personalised consultations, including individual action plans to achieve employment goals
• Provide in-job support to sustain employment
• Navigate Singapore's employment landscape through upgrading of skills and competencies, empowering job-seeking behaviours, and establishing partnerships with employers and community to create job and training opportunities
