Guiding Your Child Through Their Adoption Story
If you have adopted or are planning to adopt, it is important to share your child's adoption story and birth history with them. Early disclosure of adoption is essential as it impacts the child’s confidence, esteem, and bonding with their adoptive parents. But when is the right time to do so, and how should you approach this sensitive conversation?
Our disclosure briefing will provide you with the answers to these important questions, guiding you on the best timing and most effective ways to share this information.
It is mandatory for all prospective adopters (including those wishing to adopt a biological child or stepchild) to attend a Pre–Adoption Briefing and Disclosure Briefing conducted by Authorised Adoption Agencies (AAAs) accredited by MSF.
